Generic Award Ribbons

A Ribbon for Results, Participation and Progress

From school athletics days to club competitions, generic award ribbons offer a simple way to recognise achievement. Choose ready-printed wording for placings, participation and encouragement, with colourful designs that give each recipient a keepsake of the occasion.

Start with the award message. Numbered places suit race results, while Winner and Runner Up work for finals or competition titles. Participant and Competitor ribbons recognise taking part, and messages such as Well Done, Top Effort and Merit Award broaden recognition beyond the podium.

Organise Ribbons for Your Prizegiving

• List the races, activities and age groups that need placing awards.
• Count participation awards separately if entrants will receive these as well as result ribbons.
• Choose encouragement wording to reflect what you want to recognise, such as effort, progress or achievement.
• Check the quantity in each pack and calculate packs separately for each printed wording and colour.

Planning by award type makes it easier to organise ribbons for teachers, officials or volunteers to hand out during the event.
